Ever wished someone would just explain what actually happens during labour?
Our birth education classes do exactly that, in plain language, without the fear, and with plenty of space for questions.
Because the more you know, the calmer you feel. And the calmer you feel, the better your birth experience.

Postnatal depression doesn't always look like sadness.
Sometimes it looks like rage. Numbness. Disconnection from your baby. Obsessive worry that something terrible is about to happen. An inability to sleep even when you're exhausted.
Know the signs. Talk to your midwife, we’re always here to help. 🤍
How should you sleep during pregnancy? Find out from a midwife.

The earlier we're with you, the more we can do for you. 🤍
Starting your care at 6 weeks isn't just about ticking boxes, it's about building a relationship early enough to actually matter. Noticing the small things before they become big things. Knowing your baseline so we can spot when something shifts.
At Perth Pregnancy Clinic, we're with you from week 6. Because the sooner we start, the better we can look after you both.

You don't have to have it all figured out. You don't have to feel ready. The most prepared mothers are the ones who ask for help, stay curious, and show up one day at a time. We’re here to help every step of the way. 💛
The top 3 peices of pregnancy advice from a registered midwife.
One of the most common questions we get asked 👇
“is it safe to exercise while I’m pregnant?”
in most cases — yes. Here’s what we want you to know.
Movement during pregnancy can help with:
🌿 reducing back pain
🌿 improving sleep
🌿 managing mood and anxiety
🌿 preparing your body for labour
🌿 supporting a healthy birth weight for baby
what we generally recommend:
✔️ walking, swimming, prenatal yoga and pilates are all wonderful
✔️ aim for around 30 minutes of moderate movement most days
✔️ listen to your body — rest is just as important
✔️ stay hydrated and avoid overheating
what to avoid:
❌ contact sports or activities with a fall risk
❌ high-intensity exercise if you weren’t doing it before pregnancy.
As every pregnancy is different, if you have any complications, always check with your midwife or doctor before starting or continuing exercise.
