Compelling conversation yesterday led by ABC Radio presenter Joanna Trilling, insightful and illuminating perspectives that are at the heart of Australian culture and reality.

As Bruce Pascoe said in concluding his contribution to the panel that included Ethiopian Australia poet and Centre for Human Rights Education Director, Yirga Gelaw Woldeyes; Cantonese Australia novelist Olivia De Zilva and himself, "Why not replace fear with curiosity?"

Listening to stories of ancient stone carved churches of Lalibela, the cultural richness of Adelaide's Chinatown and, to the celestial world of the stars above country, the attentive audience was enriched.
