WILD... this is what happens when you pour water on a kitchen fire!
Less than a quarter of a cup of water caused that massive flare-up - thankfully, it was just a demo
If your cooking catches fire, don't use water.
Smother it with a fire blanket, or if you don't have one, use a pot lid, chopping board, or towel if it's safe to do so. Stay low, turn off the stove and slide it carefully over the pan.
