What if international students had to leave Australia before applying for another student visa? 🤔
A new political proposal suggests exactly that.
If introduced, some international students may no longer be able to stay in Australia while waiting for their next student visa outcome.
Instead, they could be required to return to their home country and apply from offshore.
Even though this is NOT Australian law, the proposal has sparked debate over whether genuine international students should be affected too.

Is there really a "PR course" in Australia?

Say you study nursing in regional Queensland. You graduate, work locally on a 485 visa, pick up regional study points, and your profile becomes genuinely competitive. The course didn't give you PR. Your profile did.
