Our story
GypsyLou brings their signature style of melodic pop-folk to audiences. Weaving strands of Celtic and earthy, trad-folk with warm and heartfelt vocal harmony, they entertain with truly sing-able, soul-warming music.
The 'GypsyLou' duo was formed in 2016 by singer/songwriters Carrie Lee and Katie McMahon. Having met in a choir where they both sang in the alto section, they founded the duo on their love of singing in harmony together. GypsyLou quickly grew in popularity and released a six-track EP, 'Girl in Blue', in 2018. They are currently recording on a full album with their five-piece band, GypsyLou and the Kingfishers.
This spellbinding duo perform as assortment of original pop ballads and toe tapping new-folk anthems about life, love and hope. They also perform a wide range of popular covers and can work as a duo, trio, or full band.
