Bridging the gap around the world, one mission at a time 🌏 Meet Jaimie, President of Operation Rainbow 🌈

Jaimie is currently the CNM of PACU at Perth Children’s Hospital. With over 20 years of experience as a paediatric nurse, she has also served on surgical missions for more than 8 years across the Philippines, India, and Mexico with Mercy Ships and Operation Smile.

Beyond the clinical impact, Jaimie continues to volunteer 1–2 times a year to help bridge the gap between children living with treatable conditions and the lack of equitable access, infrastructure, and healthcare workforce.

Without access to essential surgical care, children born with cleft palate can experience feeding difficulties, speech and hearing challenges, social exclusion, bullying, and reduced opportunities in education and employment throughout their lives.

Operation Rainbow would like to thank Jaimie for generously contributing her skills, experience, and compassion to this organisation.

Through the partnership of Kiwanis Club of Cebu, Operation Rainbow Australia, ICM Cebu base, and Abounding in Love, a FREE surgical mission will be held this 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟗–𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at 𝑨𝒅𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒔𝒕 𝑯𝒐𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒍 (𝑴𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒓 𝑯𝒐𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒍), 𝑪𝒆𝒃𝒖 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚.
