Humans of Flora Terrace EP 04: Helen from Quality Dry Cleaning

Helen's been here for years and the thing she keeps coming back to is the people. Relaxed. Genuine. Good ones.

North Beach sure does have that effect! 🌊

Hidden directly behind our street and hiding in plain sight. Did you know this sculpture has been in Apex Park since 2018?

Portals X Three by local artist .pankiw is an aluminium sculpture featuring three canopies, each one a love letter to a different part of this neighbourhood: the bushland of Star Swamp, the coastline at Marmion Marine Park, and the everyday rhythm of people using the park itself.

Kids on bikes. Dogs off leads. Kites in the air.
Community, captured in metal.

We’re so proud to see another local business stepping up for a cause that touches so many in our community.

This weekend are taking on the Rottnest Channel Swim in support of the Prostate & Breast Cancer Foundation 🌊

Amy Audas, Brad Hardingham, Tommy McNeil and Ash are raising funds and need to hit the target of $3,500. This is a charity close to Brad’s heart as he was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer a few years ago.

If you’re able to support, every contribution makes a difference. We’ll be cheering you on all the way to Rotto 💙

Christmas at North Beach - then & now 🌊🎄

From a holiday escape for just a few families in the early 1900s, to the beloved community spot it is today, North Beach has been bringing joy to generations. Mettam’s Pool, built by Frank Mettam, remains a highlight for children and families each summer.

Thanks to Chris Holyday for sharing these wonderful stories and photos!

Wishing everyone a safe and joyful festive season - we’ll see you in 2026! ✨
