Ready for some Aussie Muscle!! Up for sale is my South African production 1972 Holden HG Monaro badged as a Chevrolet SS. This vehicle was originally a Holden 308 but It is currently running a 350 crate engine (2 bolt main) with a brand new Holley 600 CFM Carb, however is to be sold with the matching original 308 engine as per the pictures accompanying the vehicle as well. The gearbox is untouched and other than being serviced is the original 4-speed saginaw manual that is an absolute ripper to drive.

This vehicle was restored by a classic car shop In Johannesburg and is fully registered in SA. Since my ownership the vehicle has been pampered and tweaked with a new chrome brake booster imported from the US, new 600 CFM Holley Carb, new water pump and recently re-sprung the leafs to name a few. This car is an absolute head turner with no expense spared to keep it growling and also to restore it as close to original as possible sourcing parts from Aus.

This is a drivers car with its original 4 speed manual there is no traction control, no power steering and no ESP here.. (not for DCT and DSG drivers) this is the real McCoy!!! I would like to see it go to a good home and be cherished locally as there are not many left in SA but if the Aussies bring the bucks first then I will support an export. I have done an export of another Monaro in the past and can help facilitate the process which is quite straight forward.
