R U OK Day for me is about spreading the knowledge on how every emotion is part of the human experience + how to have authentic conversations ππ»π½
No emotion is wrong or right
Yet in society if we feel sadness in our bodies we feel their is something βwrongβ with us π
People are reaching out to doctors more and more for medication to cover up feelings π
How can we fully express every emotion and be authentic in our conversations in life? π
β€οΈ If you want to have authentic conversations in your life you need to be the one to open up first and reach out for help
β€οΈ If your resisting a feeling, be with the emotion feel the entirety of the whole emotion and watch how the emotion subsides
Stop making your emotions wrong - guilt, shame, anger, fear, sadness, frustration
Accept all the emotions as a part of your life experience
β€οΈ Open up to your community on what it is your really going through, this can create a space for people to also share what is going on with their life
Youβll be surprised who is going through the same experience π―
