About Lisa:

Lisa Galatis, an accountant who brings her love of planning and certainty into one of life’s most uncertain conversations—death and dying. She’s the founder of ‘Ignite Your Legacy Project Inc.’, a not-for-profit charity, that creates safe spaces for people to talk about end-of-life planning, through Death Cafés, Peace of Mind Plans, and community workshops completing advanced care planning documents.

For Lisa, death isn’t a taboo topic—it’s an invitation to live more fully. She’s passionate about encouraging people to think about their bucket lists, to embrace experiences that bring joy and meaning, and to consider the legacy they’ll leave behind. Lisa doesn’t just inspire others—she lives it. Her travels have taken her from Egypt’s pyramids to the Camino in Spain, to the sacred energy of Uluru, and next August she’ll be leading a 'Journey with Purpose" trip to Italy’s intentional community of Damanhur.
