I built this retaining wall for a customer in Coogee after he had several contrators look at the job and were unable to do the job due to concerns with possible cap stone and an obvious lime stone ledge
I was able to complete the job in the time that I had expected all together 15m retaining wall and 40m of Colorbond fence
Certainly some Limestone was encountered it is in Coogee after all
But when you take a professional approach to the job it is no problem
I used the Mini Excavator with auger, rock breaker was on stand by we also took away 4 cubic meters of soil at the end of the job using a bobcat and tip truck
a job like this will be a disaster if you use a contractor who is pushing a wheel barrow with a ute and trailer
