Have you ever enlarged or reduced a logo in Adobe Illustrator and found parts of the logo doing strange and unusual things? Are lines staying the same thickness and not scaling correctly? This ONE tip will solve all your scaling issues.
Open Illustrator.
Go to Preferences.
Click General.
Tick Scale Stroke & Effects.
Click OK.
Quit Illustrator.
Open Illustrator.
From now on, when you enlarge or reduce a logo with a stroke/line, the stroke/line thickness will increase or decrease, to scale.
This tip will save your bacon, especially for those mocking up logos on multiple promotional products.
