Finally — some sense in this debate.
Those of us working in energy have known for years that Australia’s higher electricity costs are driven by structural and market issues: under-investment in networks, ageing thermal assets, global gas dynamics, and regulatory settings that haven’t kept pace with change.

It’s frustrating to see bad-faith actors continue to misrepresent this as the “cost of the green transition”. It isn’t. And repeating that line only delays the real work needed to fix affordability for households and industry.

After 6 years of serving the great people of Swan Hills, Denise has decided to move on to a new chapter.

For those who have ever interacted with Denise, you would know her passionate, determined and caring approach to helping wherever she could.

Denise has been a constant in the Swan Hills office. Holding down the fort, so Jess Shaw, and then I, could serve our community.

THANK YOU Denise for all you have done for our community. And for all the support you gave me personally as I transitioned into this role. I could not have done it without you.
