Legeneering

Yesterday, 8 employees at Legeneering supported the "Longest Day" golf challenge in Perth, Western Australia. From sunrise to sunset, the team pushed through 72 (and 56) holes in 40 degree heat to raise vital funds for the Cancer Council, supporting life-saving research, prevention programs and families across Australia.

Collectively, our teams raised $6103 for the Cancer Council. This was an incredible achievement for all involved, who embody our Legeneering spirit of challenge, teamwork, and giving back.

We will see the team back on the course next year!

You may be used to seeing Mitch and Sarah in our offices, but today they traded work for play and joined in with the Clontarf Academy at their Super Training session. We are very proud to be a partner of this wonderful organisation, and the team (especially Mitch) had a lot of fun playing different sports with the boys. We are excited to be able to participate in many other activities with the Clontarf Academies in 2025!

Legeneering Vietnam is looking for 01 x Piping Designer to join our team located in Vungtau city, Vietnam.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Based on P&ID and/or existing environment 3D scan data, develop 3D piping models for manufacturing and assembly
purposes.
• Produce isometrics and detail drawings for piping fabrication.
• Make any necessary amendments according to mark-ups
• Finalize all relevant works once the allocated job folder is completed.
• Liaise with Design Team, Project Coordinators to collate key information required to prepare draft.
• Analyze client, product and/or equipment specifications, international standards, and performance requirements to
determine designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and/or methods.
• Provide technical input regarding manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties, processes, advantages,
and limitations which may affect long range plant and product engineering planning.
• Prepare product and/or system layout and detailed drawings and schematics.
Seek assistance from Surveyors and/or other Engineering personnel to prepare design modifications as required

Minimum requirements:
•Relevant Tertiary Qualification and/or Trade Certificate
• Practical & Technical Knowledge
• Sound knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Plant 3D and Microsoft Office Software
• Experience working with 3D point cloud data (desirable)
• 3 years industry related experience
• Oil & Gas Industry experience (desirable)
• Experience with brownfields refurbishment (desirable)

Legeneering Vietnam is looking for 02 x Structural Designers to join our team located in Vungtau city, Vietnam.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Structural design and drafting across a portfolio of projects, including providing input into scheduling and the preparation of project budgets, to ensure projects are delivered on time and under budget as required by the Project Manager.
• Provide technical design input into repair methodologies and quotations.
• Participate with the determination of feasibility of designs, considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning, and other technical and economic factors.
• Review and understand client specifications and standard drawings applicable to structural design packages.
• Assist in the development of project scope of works, by developing concept sketches with input from the Project Engineer, Technical Advisor and Structural Engineer.
• Working closely with the Project Engineer, Technical Advisor and Structural Engineer, develop 3D structural design models and 2D drawings in accordance with project requirements include cost and schedule requirements.
• Maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects.

Minimum requirements:
• Degree in Engineering or related field, or relevant Trade Certificate
• Practical & Technical Knowledge
• Sound knowledge of AutoCAD, expert in Inventor & Microsoft Office Software
• 2+ years related experience.
• Oil & Gas Industry experience (desirable)
