We are conducting a diary study to understand how we use muscle memory while interacting with ourselves and the world around us in our everyday life. This could include examples such as knowing (without thinking) which side your fridge's door handle is on and how to operate it.

Knowing these details from everyday life examples could help interaction designers understand how to utilise better our existing experience, i.e., the muscle memory of interacting with the world and incorporate it into the design of everyday things.
