Under Australia’s spam rules, unsubscribing from marketing messages should be easy and accessible.

Businesses can’t:

• Force you to provide personal information or ask you to create or log into an account to unsubscribe from a mailing list

• Send you marketing messages without your consent

The ACMA monitors how businesses follow these rules and can take strong action when they don’t comply.
