A colleague quoted South Park to me today, and I couldn't have said it better. "Well yeah, and I'm sad, but at the same time I'm really happy that something could make me feel that sad. It's like, it makes me feel alive, you know? It makes me feel human. And the only way I could feel this sad now is if I felt somethin' really good before. So I have to take the bad with the good, so I guess what I'm feelin' is like a beautiful sadness."

Thank you so much to all the beautiful people at for the last 3 wonderful years. I didn't think I would ever find another work family as great as my last. Walking in to my last day today, I looked at the building and realized I found it. I have been so lucky to work with such a talented and diverse team.

Today, we take a moment to honour and bring awareness to the thousands of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and two-spirit peoples. Please take a moment to learn and reflect. Remember this affects not just these people, but also tens of thousands of their family and friends.

Let’s talk exercise. πŸ’ͺ🏻 Did you know RMTs can prescribe therapeutic exercises? I am often asked what is the best kind of exercise, and my answer is almost always β€œit depends, what do you like?”
If I said swimming πŸŠβ€β™€οΈ to the person that is afraid of the water, how is that going to be beneficial? If I recommend triathlons to someone who has been lounging on the couch the last 19 months (thanks COVID πŸ˜’), that person might try once and give up. I personally love swimming and dancing, but dislike running. What do you think I am most likely to do? What am I going to commit to doing regularly?
Our bodies are designed to move. Most of us work at desks now, and spend the majority of the days sitting. We need to move when we can to counteract that sedimentary lifestyle. Movement can be anything you like! The sky is the limits! Do you enjoy chair yoga, water walking, hiking, walking to the store, running, swimming, weight training, or parasailing? Whatever you love, do it!
