Copper Bloom

That's a wrap on our flower season! Thank you all so so much for sharing our dahlias all over Gippsland. It's such a pleasure to see how much joy they bring everyone.

Our flowers are only here for a short time - this year, we managed almost 5 weeks, which is pretty normal for field grown dahlias in our area. Now the stems are sagging, the centres are blowing, and after tonight's wind... they'll be a pretty pile of petals on the ground!

The patch is working away at developing seed for us now - the bees will do their thing, and we'll harvest and sort seed over the next few months.

Our tuber list will be up soon - hopefully in the next week to give you all a chance to preorder before we start digging and dividing :)

The picture is of Patrick and I a few weeks ago - I was naming varieties, and he was chasing the water hens...

Hi! It's ME! Have we met? I'm Laura :) I've had lots of questions about how long the dahlias will be flowering - it's weather dependent, but my best guess is 2 more weeks! As we get to the end of the season, I'll update the availability daily after reading the patch :) I'll add dates into the shop as we go but if you're holding out for a special occasion just send a DM and I'll put you in the queue :)
