⚠️ Business Owners Beware ⚠️

We’re seeing an increase in scam emails and fake renewal letters being sent to businesses and business name holders regarding ASIC renewals.

These emails can look very convincing and often request payment for “renewals” through third-party services that are not affiliated with ASIC.

A recent example received by one of our clients claimed their business name renewal was due and directed them to pay online through an independent service.

Please remember:

✔️ Always double check the sender and website address
✔️ ASIC renewals can be completed directly through ASIC
✔️ Be cautious of urgent payment requests or unfamiliar links
✔️ If unsure, contact your accountant or advisor before making payment

Unfortunately, these scams are becoming increasingly common, so it’s important to stay vigilant and protect your business information.
