We're called Yomama. That's right, Yomama. Melbourne's finest, freshest, funnest, funkiest and friendliest cover band and dry cleaning service.
That time we told everyone at a public show it was Gavan's birthday (It's "Gavan's birthday" every public show. A nice way to embarrass him as he receives undeserved and unwanted applauds and congratulations.)
But this time when we came off stage the patrons said it was another persons birthday there and they had arranged a cake.
So they asked if Gavan would like to be a part of the celebration, to which we replied of course, he would be honored 😂
And our man Gav had to stand awkwardly while everyone sang them both happy birthday and the lucky devil even got to blow out the candles!🔥🔥

Did you ever hear the tale of how Ross joined Yomama? Gather round children.
The band first met him in 2017 after they found him curled up in a ball in the back of their equipment van one night.
Once the band got him out of the van and calmed him, they decided they would take him in. They returned to their Yomama house and bathed him, clothed and fed him, nurtured him to full health, and over time they eventually realised there was a pretty great drummer there, and they've kept him ever since.
