Linda is very excited to be joining Preschool Storytime at Frankston Library tomorrow and reading 'Lulu's Rainbow Feast.' If you know anyone who might be interested, it's on Monday, 31st March, and starts at 11:30. For anyone wanting to purchase a copy, they will be available at the special launch price of $25.00.

Here are a few general tips:

* Get organised in advance so your child can confidently manage their lunchbox and bag.
* Prepare everything needed for the school or kindergarten day the night before.
* Establish a daily routine before school starts to help ease the transition.
* Help your child familiarise themselves with the environment. Make sure they know where the toilets are, where their bags are kept, and where they can play in the yard.
*Talk positively about your child’s school or kindergarten and their teacher. This will set a positive tone for their experience. If you have any concerns, talk with their teacher or the wellbeing person.
* Build a good rapport with your child’s teacher. Find out how they prefer to communicate. Often, at the beginning of the school day, when many children and parents are present, teachers may not have time to talk. Ask if you can schedule a time to meet with them or if they prefer to communicate via email.
