Changed traffic and parking conditions in Petrie Terrace for the Queensland Day 2026 event

Traffic and parking changes will be in place from 6am Saturday 6 June to 2am Sunday 7 June in Petrie Terrace for the Queensland Day Event.

Caxton Street, Petrie Terrace between Hale Street and Petrie Terrace, will be fully closed during this time.

Parking conditions will also temporarily change on Petrie Terrace to ‘No Standing Tow Away’ during this time.

Traffic controllers and signage will be in place to assist motorists, buses and pedestrians.

Diversion routes will be in place, with all detours and diversions clearly signed on the day.
