Greater Springfield RSL Sub-Branch

Today, the Greater Springfield RSL Sub-Branch held its Annual General Meeting.

I am honoured to have been re-elected as President for the next three years.

On behalf of our members, I would like to thank every member, volunteer, family member and supporter who has contributed to the Sub-Branch over the past 11 months.

In that time, we have grown from 32 members to approximately 195 members, delivered major commemorative activities including our Springfield Dawn Service and Brighton Homes Arena Anzac Day event, strengthened community partnerships, and continued building a veteran-focused organisation that serves our region with pride.

I would also like to sincerely thank Stephanie Shipman for her enormous contribution to the Sub-Branch. Stephanie has played a significant role in helping build Greater Springfield RSL into what it is today, and we are grateful for the time, energy and commitment she has given to the veteran community.

Thank you to those continuing with us, those stepping into new roles, and those who have supported us along the way.

The foundations have been laid, and the future is bright.

📣 Greater Springfield Sub Branch Annual General Meeting is next Saturday, June 13 at 1.30pm

All are welcome, feel free to bring the kids along too! Attire is neat casual

📍 Location is Springfield YMCA, 134A Parkland Dr, Springfield

The purpose of the AGM is to update members on how the Sub Branch is going, elect board members and conduct any general business in accordance with the constitution.
