TIP 5: Teach the concept to someone else

After studying a Maths topic, close your notes. Then explain it out loud.

To a parent. To a sibling. To your friend. If your classmates ask for help, try to explain the topic to them thoroughly.

The gaps in your explanation are the gaps in your understanding- and they're far more visible when you're speaking than when you're reading. If you can explain the whole thing clearly and confidently, you get it and you're ready.
