Boro zipper pouch with densely stitched Sashiko straight stitch embroidery, featuring different Japanese cotton fabrics, such as Sakizome Momen (yard dyed), Sarasa (printed) as well as some vintage Kimono silk patches. Has two decidedly different sides.
Lined with natural seeded cotton drill, beige metal zipper with leather pull, padded with light interfacing for extra body. Flat, 19cm wide, 15cm tall. Available from my Etsy store soon.

A clip board full of silk collages… I have been going through my bags of assorted silk kimono scraps and prepared some gorgeous colorful collages, basted and ready for the next step - hand embroidery….
I let the patterns and colors inspire the stitching I am going to add, it’s so addictive 🥰.

A family of Indigo (Aizome) dyed off white linen zipper pouches with fabric I made last year during an Indigo vat dying session, using the clamping method.
The large one features strips of dyed fabric stitched onto off-white linen background, embellished with fluffy flat pompoms for your sensual pleasure.... 😜
Dimensions:
Large: 25cm wide and 18cm high
Small: 17cm wide and 13cm high
all lined with blue striped cotton , interfaced for extra body and with blue nylon zippers.
