Associates Rugby - Juniors

We’re delighted to have our academy and pathway led by a highly experienced coach Andy Gallacher. With an outstanding playing and coaching background. A former player within the Scottish Pathways system who also played in New Zealand and Australia, he has gone on to build an impressive coaching career — working as Director of Rugby and Head of Athletic Development in leading independent schools, coaching in the Men’s Scottish Premiership and at provincial level with Caledonia Reds. He has worked full-time with Glasgow Warriors as an Academy Skills Coach (U15–U18) and served as Assistant Coach with Scotland national under-18 rugby union team. With professional experience across youth and senior rugby, plus a background as a qualified P.E. teacher, he brings elite-level knowledge, structure, and passion to help every player maximise their potential.
