Something we still see quite often with older, more outdated techniques that have been common in Australia.

When brows aren’t designed in line with your bone structure, they can subtly throw off the whole face over time 😔

In cases like this, it’s not about simply going over the top.
We step back, reassess the shape properly, and rebuild using a mix of correction pigment, soft shading, and fine strokes ✨

It takes more thought, more restraint, and more experience 💭
But the result sits naturally and works with the face, not against it 🤍

Fresh brows are not the final result 😅

When you leave your appointment, they can feel a little irritated, dark, and heavier than expected.
For a moment it can feel like… “oh wow, what have I done?”

This is normal 🤍

Here’s what typically happens next:

• Days 1–3
Brows go darker and can feel a little tight or out of shape as the skin heals

• Days 4–10
They start to lighten... a lot 😜
Some clients will experience light flaking around day 10 (but not everyone does)...

• Weeks 2–4
The “disappearing stage”
Brows can look very light or patchy

• Weeks 6–8
Some of the colour comes back softly as the skin fully heals - and then it's time for touchup! ✨

I prepare all of my clients for this, because it is a bit of an emotional rollercoaster, and it's vital to trust the process 🎢

How your brows heal depends on your skin, metabolism, technique, and aftercare... and, in some cases, your previous work.
