Bowel cancer claims the lives of 103 Australians every week – but it’s one of the most treatable types of cancer when detected early.
The Endoscopy Unit at St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba plays a vital role in the detection and diagnosis of bowel cancer, with our skilled nurses and specialists completing around 4,000 colonoscopies each year.
The unit includes 14 specialised Endoscopy nurses and a multidisciplinary team that work across admissions and stage 2/3 recovery, supporting patients in a professional and caring environment.
