Multi-Faith Multicultural Centre Toowoomba

On 17 June, we were privileged to welcome Mr Charlie Shandil, Regional Director North (Queensland and Northern Territory), during his visit to Pure Land.

The meeting provided a wonderful opportunity to share our work, activities, and community programs. It was a meaningful and enriching exchange of ideas, reflections, and experiences.

We were deeply encouraged and inspired by Mr Shandil’s kind words, compliments, and recognition of the contributions made by Pure Land and the wider Toowoomba community.

A monthly talk on Moral Values was recently held as a joint initiative between the Toowoomba Interfaith Working Group (TIWG) and the Muslim community.

The session, presented by Imam Amin from the Toowoomba Mosque, focused on the theme of Universal Moral Values and encouraged thoughtful reflection on the shared principles that unite humanity across cultures and faiths.

The evening concluded with a simple shared meal.
