30 years ago this week Richard Frankland's short film NO WAY TO FORGET screened in Un Certain Regard at the Cannes International Film Festival, France .The film received a five minute standing ovation. 30 years on Richard's film is more relevant than ever. The deaths continue. A national shame.

Just got back from watching Warwick Thornton's latest film WOLFRAM. This is an amazing film with great cinematography, editing and sound. The actors are incredible conveying the suspense, fear and tension that the story demands. Go and see this one on a big screen to fully experience and appreciate the images and sounds created by Thornton. A brilliant film. 🎬🎥🙏

Today in Canberra it was revealed fossil fuel companies plan to spend $6-7 million dollars campaigning against plans to introduce a 25% tax on gas/oil revenue. Where does our gas go and who profits? 30 years ago I had a short film I produced screen at Cannes (NO WAY TO FORGET). I still get excited every May when the festival comes around.
