Behind the Music: when I was finally happy with a script and it was guaranteed we were going ahead with producing “Locked” - Rob was my next priority call. I wanted to put everything I could into this short film, with the music composing being a priority. We haven’t had the chance to work together in 10 years but still Rob was excited for my call. His work is beautiful, poignant and perfect. So special in fact that his father’s voice plays a pivotal role. I will never stop telling other filmmakers about the importance of music and sound in films and of course that this is the man they need to call.

🎥 Behind the Lens: 🤩 I need to highlight the incredible work of our Continuity, Yonni ⭐️. For those unfamiliar, continuity is crucial in filmmaking. They ensure that all the elements of a scene remain consistent from shot to shot. From positioning of props, to actors movement and dialogue. They are the Directors extra eyes. Yonni is the absolute expert that not only picked up the finer details but also someone for me to bounce ideas off (or steal his ideas) 💡 Thank you

Our first laurel for the season! Film Festival season has begun with an award! LOCKED has been accepted into winter season. Not only that it has been awarded BEST FEMALE DIRECTOR!!! 🤩🤩🤩 Thank you to everyone involved and don’t forget we have our private screening in two weeks! We are having a private screening for my new short film "Locked" at Backlot Cinemas in South Melbourne.

"Locked" is an intimate and emotional portrayal of a man battling the slow unravelling of his mind due to early-onset dementia, and the love that holds him and his wife together as they face the inevitable challenges of his condition.
