Thanks Iona College for the invite to spend a morning with your amazing food tech students.

We explored foraged and native ingredients with a focus on sustainability. Thanks to the students for being so engaged and curious🙏

Firing up 2 charcoal grills in the classroom was a bit fun… 🔥

After a demonstration, the students then replicated a couple of the Samesyn dishes and did remarkably well.

We discussed food insecurity, food waste and how we can all help by making small changes with the way we live.
