Jack found termites inside a home in Upper Coomera this week. The damage was caught early, but it could have been much worse and avoided.

Outside the home there was pooling water up against the edge of the house and an old timber garden bed sitting right against the wall. Both major attractants for termites.

Quick tip to prevent this from happening to you. After rain, take a walk around your home and check for:
- damp areas
- moss build-up
- timber laying around
