Road Crash Rescue

At 1:05pm today our unit was activated to a truck roll over with reported entrapment in Bushfield.

SES along with Police, CFA and Ambulance arrived on scene to find a cattle truck on its side with 1 person trapped in the cab, SES along side Ambulance and the Fire Brigade worked to help the patient out without needing to use our rescue equipment and into a waiting ambulance.

A great result and thank you to all those that turned up to help.

His duties include boosting morale, supervising the crew, and ensuring all pats and treats are distributed fairly.

Today we thank all first responders who answer the call when their communities need them most.

And remember, even heroes need a good support dog. 🐶

Wild weather has kept our Volunteers busy responding to 12 Requests For Assistance since 7:30am this morning, most of them related to building damage due to high winds and rain, with a couple of trees down on Rollos Rd to mix things up.
