A tough and determined win from The Narrator today at Casterton Racecourse, carrying a hefty 62kg and digging deep when it mattered.

Jack Hill kept him rolling throughout and he showed plenty of grit to get the job done under the big weight.

🌊 BEACH PAD 🌊

Beach Pad kicked off the Swan Hill Carnival in the best possible way today with a strong win on Day 1. A terrific ride by Dean Yendall who had the horse in a beautiful rhythm throughout.

Great to be part of such a fantastic atmosphere at Swan Hill — one of the great country carnivals.

GHEMME GETS THE JOB DONE AT CASTERTON 🏇

Ghemme was tough late at Casterton today, digging in strongly over the final stages to secure a well deserved win. She travelled beautifully throughout and really attacked the line when asked for an effort.

Fantastic ride by Tom Ryan who judged the race perfectly and gave her every chance from the outset.

Break The Taboo Too Good At Ararat 💥

Our only runner for the day and she got the job done in style, producing an impressive 4-length win at Ararat this afternoon and continuing the momentum for the stable over the past week.

She might be a little horse, but she’s got a big heart ❤️

Home town carnivals hit differently

To finish the 2026 Warrnambool May Racing Carnival as Leading Trainer with four winners on our home track is something we are incredibly proud of.

After the week started with Mia Ritchie unfortunately being kicked, it was fantastic to have her back on course with us by Thursday — as tough as they come!

🏆 Andy Win kicked the week off in the Maiden Hurdle with a terrific ride from Tom Ryan.

🏆 Wednesday brought up a day we won’t forget — Centenary Florin became our first ever 2YO winner with Declan Bates aboard before Vieux Riche made it a stable double thanks to John Allen.

🏆 Then on Thursday, The Narrator finished the carnival on the perfect note, taking out the final race of the week with Jack Hill in the saddle.

The Warrnambool Carnival is one of the most iconic weeks in Australian racing and to have success there, in front of our owners, family, staff and local supporters, makes it even more special.

🐺 WOLF STRIKES FIRST UP – DUAL TRACK DOUBLE

Wolf Twenty One was back with a bang at Cranbourne tonight, taking out the 1000m first-up and bringing up our second winner of the day 💥

A great result and a reflection of the advantage of opening our Flemington stable — giving us greater flexibility to place our horses, access more race meetings, and target the right races at the right time.

Teamed up perfectly with our earlier winner at Stawell to secure a dual track double 🔥

Big thanks to Lachlan Neindorf for a well-judged ride — timed it nicely and got the best out of him late 👏

And as always, a massive shoutout to our staff who make these results possible across both locations — a true team effort.

Shooter McGavin Returns to the Winner’s Stall 💥

Back in the winner’s stall at Stawell and well deserved!

He’s been knocking on the door all prep and it was great to see him finally get his head in front today — long overdue and a reward for his consistency.
