Midland NDIS Project – Manufacture and Install of 15 dwellings - 12 single storey and 3 two storey 🏘️

Here's a short timelapse of the project (we like our videos!).

• Designed and manufactured the built form (to NDIS standards) in 82 days
• Expecting installation to roof frame in 23 days
• That's an average of just 7 days per dwelling from design, through to manufacture and install! 🙌

At OFFSITE, we are committed to delivering smart, sustainable, and purpose-built housing solutions that make a difference for the community.

Exciting update on our project with Abel Property in Jolimont!🎉

We're thrilled to share that we successfully reached the lock-up stage for each of these three-storey townhouses in just one week! 🏘️ 👏

“Speed was the biggest bonus here. As Offsite completed a townhouse our trades were able to efficiently follow behind so there was a seamless flow in production and no time delay.” - Adrian Abel.

We are absolutely over the moon to see The West report on the "My Home" project we've been collaborating on with Michelle Blakeley and Jim De Baughn of Highbury Homes Group and Brian Guinan the WA Pro Clima Australia Pty Ltd Australia distributor.

The project is "a potential solution to the widespread homeless crisis is part-way complete in North Fremantle, with 18 homes being built within an astonishing 22 day-period. The homes operate under the Passiv Haus concept, which requires about 90 percent less energy than a regular home."

This article details how the team at OFFSITE managed to erect the homes so quickly, with such great operational cost and thermal benefits at a relatively affordable cost. It's a fantastic read!

This highlights to the market a very important concept. If you are willing to make your new home 6% smaller you can have zero energy bills for life and 20 to 24 degrees of HEPA filtered fresh air 24/365 built to near Passiv Haus standard. With energy prices skyrocketing that is a serious proposition.

Special thanks to Kim Macdonald for going above and beyond to create more awareness around the amazing potential of closed panel offsite construction and the Passiv Haus concept!

A great read from one of our peers, provides a deep understanding of what we are trying to do here at OFFSITE.

Conventionally, most building designs focus on aesthetics rather than buildability, usability, and investment return. The concept of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) factors in these critical values and combines them with beautiful designs to ensure developers get the most value for their construction projects.
