Have you ever tried the classic French recipe à la Grenobloise? Brown butter, capers, lemon, and sweet raisins come together to create a beautifully balanced sauce that’s simple, elegant, and full of flavours.😋

It is citrus season, and of course the classic lemon tart is always a favourite. But why not be a little more adventurous and use other seasonal citrus fruits such as oranges, mandarins, or even grapefruit?
You can keep your favourite tart recipe and simply reduce the proportion of sugar to balance the natural sweetness and acidity of the fruit.
Also, if you have plenty of lemons in your garden or if your neighbours are generous enough to share them, a useful tip is to squeeze the juice and freeze it in portions. This way, you can enjoy the flavour of fresh citrus all year round.

One of my favourite French comfort dishes has to be Œufs Cocotte 🇫🇷🥚
Simple, elegant and incredibly delicious, this classic French recipe transforms humble eggs into something special. A little cream, a few seasonal ingredients, and a gentle bake in the oven are all it takes to create a dish that feels right at home in a Parisian bistro or at a French farmhouse breakfast table.
My favourite version? Fresh eggs baked with cream, a touch of garlic, mushrooms and herbs, served with crusty bread to soak up every last bit of the creamy yolk.
