🙋🏽‍♂️🙋🏽‍♂️🌲🌻🌞🥇🎨🚚🚧🏡🔨💸Why wouldn’t you want a career as landscaper for over twenty years in the industry I have had no two days are same one day we are pouring exposed agg concrete the next we are on the drills fitting off a deck then tomorrow we are laying turf and next week we are constructing retaining walls variety is the spice of life and keeps you motivated, interested and willing to come to work to see what the next day has installed.
While job may be of a highly physical nature it is equally rewarding when you stand back and take in what you have achieved and it’s worth all the blood sweat and tears (and blisters). One of the biggest thrills I get is when we have completed a park or a play ground in a child centre and the kids are out there enjoying what we have created it brings certain level of satisfaction. I don’t know that a sparkie or a plumber would understand this as 95% of work gets covered up again never to be seen no one ever says “nice wiring” or “I love those storm water pipes” but we get that on nearly all of our jobs. It’s one of the few trades around that still involves craftsmanship and the interpretation of the trade person. In landscaping we use so many disciplines and learn a very wide number of skill sets that opens up so many more career paths down the track. We currently look for an apprentice, qualified landscaper and truck/plant operator

One of our largest and most challenging to date due to very tight site access and ground water continually popping up and giving us grief then the rain washing out the sand from under our turf on 3 occasions. But she came up a treat. Rock walls not only look great they are also cost effective having a saving of approximately 1 third when compared to traditional walls like concrete blocks and sleepers
