Wynnum Community Place

From 14 July, Orange Sky Australia will be at Wynnum Community Place earlier in the day to align with our Community Breakfast Service 💚

From next Tuesday, Orange Sky will be at WCP from 9am–11.30am.

This will now operate as ‘Double Van Tuesday’, with both the Orange Sky van and the 4 Voices van on site together! This means increased support, connection, and service capacity for community members attending WCP.

We look forward to continuing to support the community with Laundry and Showers.

Every person who walks through our doors is welcomed the same way: with a smile, a warm hello, and a genuine interest in how they’re doing.

We don’t ask because we expect a particular answer. We ask because we genuinely want to know.

Some people tell us they’ve had the best week of their lives. Others tell us they’re not sure how they’re going to get through the day.

Today, a client shared that when he has great news, he can’t wait to share it with the WCP team because we’ll genuinely celebrate it with them.

We loved that because it’s exactly what we’ve always hoped WCP would be.

Not just a place people come when they’re struggling - a place people belong.

Some days we celebrate small wins to you (which are always HUGE wins to us) and other days we sit beside people while they figure out their next step. We work through it with you.

Both matter.

Because community isn’t just about helping people when life falls apart. It’s about making sure everyone has somewhere they belong, no matter how their day is going.
