Based on the Gold Coast, JJR Engineering is the driving force behind JJ’s Waste’s bespoke solutions - from custom-built trucks to durable bins and compactors, keeping things moving every day 🚛

Apprentice → Leader → Legend: Nick’s 20-Year Journey at JJR Engineering 🎉⚡

Some people come to work… and then there’s Nick. From day one, he’s been making sparks fly - literally and figuratively! ⚡😎

Starting as a fresh-faced apprentice back in 2006 👷‍♂️, Nick qualified at just 19, and it was clear from the start he had serious talent and drive 💪

By 2012, he stepped up as Electrical Workshop Supervisor 🛠️, leading the team wiring panels for projects and machinery, while jumping in on repairs and critical jobs across the business 🔧

Next came Fixed Plant Manager ⚙️, building PulpMaster machines, then gradually taking on all Fixed Plant & Equipment - creating manuals 📘setting up servicing routines 🔄 and keeping operations running smoothly ✅

Today, Nick leads both the Electrical Department and Fixed Plant & Equipment 👏 showing leadership, flexibility, and heaps of commitment 🌟

But beyond the titles, it’s the way he makes the workplace safe, productive, and enjoyable for everyone that really stands out 🏆
