Nansen Dialogue Centre Mostar

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming professors and students from the Bildungsverein der Universität von Redlands in Salzburg, Austria.

Together, we explored topics of peacebuilding, key social dynamics, and the challenges and opportunities facing Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region.

As part of its ongoing international outreach, NDC Mostar collaborates with universities and academic networks worldwide, creating space for dialogue, learning and shared perspectives.

📌Tokom oktobra i novembra ove godine, 𝐍𝐃𝐂 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫 je realizirao ciklus radionica na temu „𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐯𝐢 𝐢 𝐤𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚 𝐦𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐡“. U šest radionica učestvovalo je 𝟑𝟓 𝐮č𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐤𝐚 𝐢𝐳 𝐩𝐞𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐡 𝐬𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐣𝐢𝐡 š𝐤𝐨𝐥𝐚, koji su kroz interaktivan rad istraživali kako društvene mreže, popularna kultura i omladinski aktivizam oblikuju identitet i vrijednosti današnje generacije.

Kroz predavanja, grupni rad, praktične zadatke i analizu medijskih sadržaja, učesnici su razvijali vještine kritičkog mišljenja i dobili alate za bolje razumijevanje savremenih društvenih fenomena. Učesnici su istakli koliko im znači prostor u kojem mogu otvoreno razgovarati o temama važnim njihovoj generaciji te razmijeniti različita iskustva i perspektive. Poseban fokus programa bio je na osnaživanju mladih da prepoznaju svoju ulogu u društvenim promjenama i aktivno doprinose zajednici.

It was a pleasure to welcome the MA students from the European Regional Master in Democracy and Human Rights in South East Europe, a joint programme of Univerzitet u Sarajevu and Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna! 🎓📚

Our Project Manager, Vernes Voloder, held an engaging session focused on peacebuilding, post-conflict dynamics and the evolution of democratic institutions in 🇧🇦. The discussion also highlighted the challenges of ethnically segregated education, with a special emphasis on the “Two Schools Under One Roof” model. 🕊️🏫

Since 2001, Nansen Dialogue Centre Mostarhas had the privilege of welcoming European Regional Master in Democracy and Human Rights in South East Europe students, contributing to dialogue on reconciliation, democratic development and integrated education.
