On Friday, I arrived in Skopje, where I was greeted by Hari Kocev, a member of Lions club Pajko Malo and the governor of Lions District 132 North Macedonia.
I’ve spent the next three days at their home, where both he and his wife Vasilka Koceva made sure I had everything I needed, or even more than that.
On Friday, I attended his granddaughter's birthday celebration, and on Saturday and Sunday, I spent time by the pool, enjoying plenty of delicious homemade food and great company. 😊

While waiting for the temperatures to drop enough for walking to be bearable, I also have a lot of time for thinking...

I am increasingly aware of how privileged I am to be able to visit all these countries I've read about online or seen on television in the years to come. In fact, I will spend several weeks, sometimes even months in them. In my childhood or youth, I have been to the sea maybe 2 or 3 times...

Then my life suddenly turned upside down, in a positive sense, of course. In 2014, I started living my dreams, and ten years later, I am actually on a walking journey around the world. Even now, sometimes I find myself in a moment when I ask myself if I really realize how big of a thing this is. 🙂

I am proof that it's never too late for dreams to become reality. This gratitude will stay with me for the rest of my life!"
