πŸ“ CREDI at the Cedefop and Eurostat Research Conference on Skills Intelligence

Our Director of Research, Nermin Oruč, participated in the international research conference Harnessing Web Data for Next-Generation Skills Intelligence, jointly organised by Cedefop and Eurostat and held on 28–29 May 2026 in Thessaloniki, Greece. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡·

🎀 As part of Session 4a, Nermin presented the paper Spatial Matching of Online Job Vacancies and Training Provision Data, co-authored with Aleksandar Kostadinov. The research explores how online job vacancy data can be combined with information on education and training provision to identify geographical mismatches between labour market demand and available learning opportunities.

πŸ’‘ The conference brought together researchers, policymakers, data scientists, and labour market experts from across Europe to discuss how web data, artificial intelligence, and machine learning can contribute to better skills intelligence and evidence-based policymaking.

🌍 Through its participation in international research networks and conferences, CREDI continues to contribute to advancing labour market research and supporting evidence-based policy development.
