🇹🇭 Thailand Speaks the Truth — Military Diplomats and Global Media Witness the Facts
📍 Ubon Ratchathani, 1 August 2025
“Thailand was attacked first — Our response is the lawful right to self-defense.”
The Royal Thai Army presented a comprehensive timeline of the border conflict, proving that Cambodia initiated the aggression. Key escalatory acts by Cambodia include:
• 13 Feb 2025: Cambodian tourists staged a nationalist rally on disputed territory
• 28 Feb 2025: Cambodian forces burned the Trimuk Pavilion – a symbol of trilateral cooperation
• Mar–Apr 2025: Strategic terrain manipulation and trench expansion into Thai soil
• May 2025: Deployment of troops and artillery dangerously close to Thai borderlines
28 May 2025: Cambodia launched the first attack — Thailand exercised its right to self-defense.
Landmines, Heavy Artillery, and BM-21 Rockets
Cambodia’s actions constitute grave violations of international humanitarian law:
• Illegally planted anti-personnel mines in Thai territory — injuring and maiming Thai soldiers
• Launched multi-barrel rockets deep into Thai civilian zones (over 30 km inside Thailand)
• Targets included:
• Phanom D**g Rak Hospital
• Gas stations, convenience stores, schools
• Villages in Surin, Sisaket, Buriram, and Ubon Ratchathani provinces
• 15 civilians killed, 36 wounded, including an 8-year-old child
⚖️ Thailand’s Response: Lawful, Disciplined, Proportional
In line with Article 51 of the UN Charter:
• Strictly military targets only
• No retaliation against civilian areas — even when used as human shields
• Compliant with the principles of Necessity and Proportionality
Debunking Cambodian Disinformation
• Chemical weapons allegations: No evidence — Thailand is a CWC signatory and in full compliance
• Photo of “chemical bombs”: Taken from a 2022 wildfire in California
• MK-84 allegations: Misused Vietnam War-era footage
• Use of F-16s and heavy weapons: Strategically justified, strictly against military targets only
Cambodia’s Ceasefire Violations:
Despite the ceasefire agreement on 28 July 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Cambodia has repeatedly violated it:
• 6 major incidents in areas like Chong Bok, Sam Taet, and Pha Mo I Daeng
• 31 July: UAV intrusion into Thai airspace and continued force buildup near the border
Thailand Calls on the International Community to See the Truth
• Thailand is not the aggressor
• Never used excessive force
• Upholds the UN Charter and IHL
• Urges Cambodia to stop disinformation and return to sincere negotiations
Facts don’t lie — Satellite images don’t lie — Civilian wounds don’t lie.
🇹🇭 Thailand stands firm on international law — defending its sovereignty with honor and restraint.

Subject: Appeal to Condemn the Cambodian Government’s Actions and Urge Global Non-Support for the Hun Sen Family
We, the Thai people, are writing this urgent appeal to the international community in light of escalating tensions and unacceptable behavior by the current leadership of Cambodia. We are gravely concerned by the actions of the Cambodian government under the influence and control of Hun Sen and his successor, Hun Manet, which have directly contributed to increasing regional instability and have disrespected the sovereignty and dignity of our nation.
For decades, Hun Sen’s regime has operated with impunity, suppressing democratic freedoms within Cambodia and now exporting hostility beyond its borders. The recent aggression directed toward Thailand not only threatens regional peace and diplomatic relations but also violates the principles of mutual respect and non-interference that should guide international relations.
Hun Manet, having inherited power from his father, represents not democratic progress, but a continuation of authoritarianism and dynastic rule. Their leadership has been characterized by corruption, oppression, and the systematic abuse of political opponents, civil society, and now – dangerous provocations that risk destabilizing the peace in Southeast Asia.
Therefore, we respectfully call upon the nations and international bodies around the world to:
1. Publicly condemn the Cambodian government’s actions that are undermining regional peace and violating international norms.
2. Refuse all forms of political, military, or financial support to the Hun Sen family and those in their immediate circle.
3. Support diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions between our nations while ensuring accountability and transparency from the Cambodian side.
4. Stand with the Thai people, who desire peace, justice, and respect for national sovereignty.
This is not merely a dispute between neighbors — it is a test of the world’s commitment to justice, human rights, and the rule of law. We urge every nation that believes in freedom and peace to stand firm against tyranny and provocation.
We are Thai citizens, speaking not with hatred, but with a deep yearning for peace, dignity, and justice in our region. Let your voices be heard alongside ours.
Sincerely,
The People of Thailand
The Cambodians bombed a hospital a serious violation of international law! Cambodia has blatantly breached global rules. Their actions are utterly disgraceful.
