শুধু ওনলাইনে নয় বরং ওফলাইনে ও প্রোজেক্ট নিউরোসেইফ এর কাজ চলছে তীব্র গতিতে। কাজির দেউরি এবং চকবাজারের মতো লোকাল এলাকায় "Door to door" কমিউনিকেশনের মাধ্যমে আমরা মানুষদের বুঝানোর চেষ্টা করছি ব্রেইন স্ট্রোক আর হার্ট অ্যাটাক দুইটি ভিন্ন। এছাড়াও চিটাগং ইউনিভার্সিটিতে ও ওফলাইন কমিউনিটির মাধ্যমে মানুষদের মাঝে ব্রেইন স্ট্রোকের বিভিন্ন রকমের লক্ষণ, কারণ এবং প্রতিরোধের বিষয়ে সচেতনতা সৃষ্টি করার চেষ্টা করছি।
📝স্ট্রোক সম্পর্কে সাধারণ জনগণের ধারণা-
আমরা তাদের কাছ থেকে জানতে চেয়েছি স্ট্রোক সম্পর্কে তাদের ধারণা কতটুকু, স্ট্রোক করনীয় সম্পর্কে তারা কতটুকু জানে। আমাদের করা কিছু প্রশ্নের মাধ্যমে এবং নিজেদের জিবনের বাস্তবিকতা থেকে এইবিষয়ে তাদের সার্বিক ধারণা এবং আামরা নিজেরাও নতুন কিছু জানতে পারলাম।
🔎স্ট্রোক সম্পর্কে তাদের কিছু ভুল ধারণা এবং মুহূর্তে করণীয়-
স্ট্রোক হয়েছে যদি সঙ্গে সঙ্গে বুঝতে পারেন তাহলে জীবনরক্ষা সম্ভব। অধিকাংশ ক্ষেত্রে আমরা সেটা বুঝতে পারি না, ফলে হাসপাতালে নিতে দেরি হয়ে যায়। ফলে স্ট্রোকের মৃত্যু ঝুঁকি বেড়ে যায় এবং স্ট্রোক পরবর্তী সমস্যাও আরও বেড়ে যায়।
💠আমরা তাদেরকে আরো বলছি স্ট্রোক হয়েছে কিনা বুঝার জন্য প্রথমত আপনাকে FAST শব্দটি দ্বারা নিশ্চিত হতে হবে।
👉F=Face (মুখ), স্ট্রোকের সঙ্গে সঙ্গে মুখ বেঁকে যায়।
👉 A=Arm (হাত) শরীরের যে কোনো এক পাশের হাত পা প্যারালাইসিস হয়ে যায়।
👉S= Speech (কথা) কথা বলতে সমস্যা হয়।
👉 T= Time to call 999 for Ambulance।
আপনি FAST শব্দটি দ্বারা বুঝতে পারলেন, আপনার নিকটজন স্ট্রোক করছে এবং অ্যাম্বুলেন্স কল দিয়েছেন। হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যাবেন।
এছাড়াও আমরা আরো অনেক কিছু বুঝানোর চেষ্টা করছি।

⏰ Golden Hour: Act Fast After a Stroke! 🧠
In stroke treatment, time is crucial - "time equals brain." The sooner someone gets treatment, the more brain function can be saved. The first 60 minutes, "the golden hour," are vital for a better outcome.
⏳ Stroke Duration Varies:
- Strokes can last minutes to days, and recovery depends on stroke severity.
❗ Recognize Stroke Signs - FAST:
Remember FAST:
1. FACE:
- Check for a drooping face or uneven smile, indicating a stroke.
2. ARMS:
- Test arm-raising; difficulty suggests trouble.
3. SPEECH:
- Listen for slurred speech, a common stroke symptom.
4. HEADACHE:
- Sudden, severe headaches (thunderclap) signal a hemorrhagic stroke.
🕰️ The 4-Hour Rule:
- 🚑 If a patient arrive within the 4 hour of having stroke, he/she might receive IVtPA(Intravenous Tissue Plasminogen Activator). Reach help within 4 hours for IVtPA, breaking clots effectively.

- Early recognition empowers timely help during the critical golden hour.
