Philodendron Black Cardinal

A low-growing clumping hybrid philodendron with dark green, almost black leaves. New emerging leaves are a beautiful glossy bronze colour. Great low-growing understory plant in shady gardens.

The philodendron leaves and stems are poisonous, and the juices can cause skin irritation in some people.

Homalomena Rubescens 'Aurea Variegata'

Homalomena Rubescens 'Aurea Variegata' is a beautifully variegated form of Homalomena rubescens. The petioles are erect, and the leaf blades are cordate and emerald green with slight quilting of the blade tissue. The variegation can be yellow, red, or white in color and is quite variable.
Root rot or fungal diseases may occur if the plant is overwatered or if there is poor air circulation.
