আজ ২১ ফেব্রুয়ারি – শহীদ দিবস ও আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস। ভাষার জন্য জীবন দেওয়া বীর শহীদদের প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা।
১৯৫২ সালের এই দিনে ঢাকার রাজপথ রক্তে রঞ্জিত হয়েছিল। সালাম, বরকত, রফিক, জব্বারসহ অগণিত ভাষা শহীদদের আত্মত্যাগের বিনিময়ে আমরা পেয়েছি আমাদের প্রিয় বাংলা ভাষা।
আজকের এই দিনটি শুধু বাংলাদেশের নয়—UNESCO ১৯৯৯ সালে দিনটিকে ঘোষণা করেছে আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস হিসেবে।
ভাষা আমাদের পরিচয়, আমাদের আত্মা, আমাদের গর্ব।
আসুন, মাতৃভাষার মর্যাদা রক্ষা করি, শুদ্ধভাবে বাংলা বলি ও লিখি।
শ্রদ্ধা ও ভালোবাসা সকল ভাষা শহীদের প্রতি। 🖤
