This project is a house for a couple in the middle of a friendly neighborhood of Guyana where privacy and openness for interaction- two bipolar necessities- are addressed in this project as per the client's need.
Using the screen wall for clear circulation and a modernistic yet minimalistic look, lowering down the pool below the boundary wall creates privacy for Mr. & Mrs. Vdijk, and double-height interactive spaces inside the duplex villa and semi-shaded open spaces around the poolside area give the couple a feeling of relaxation and comfort confirming the homely atmosphere.
