Naser Hossain (ME’05), a lead engineer at Edwards Lifesciences , will be taking a hands-on discussion linking AI with Mechanical Engineering. He will focus on Physical AI rather than just theory - how robots and machines use real-world physics. The event will give clear takeaways on staying relevant amid rapid change. It will also look at how engineers can adapt when technology shifts quickly. Attendees will explore what it means to think like someone fluent in AI - not just familiar - and connect informally with others from various fields.

Naser Hossain (ME’05) is a Sr Principal Engineer at Edwards Lifesciences. Based out of their California HQ, he leads the org-wide initiatives in adopting Physical AI, contextual robotics and embodied intelligence - defining the future of design, manufacturing and scale at Edwards.

He will be hosting a highly informal, open-door session on the future of AI as applied to Mechanical Engineering disciplines.

The final round was both thrilling and inspiring, with a very close competition throughout. In the end, our champions emerged victorious, establishing themselves as the best of the best.

The 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻 and the 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝘂𝗽 will represent BUET in the upcoming 𝗦𝗢𝗳𝗘 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 organized by 𝗜𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗘 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗵. Don’t forget to keep an eye on their journey.
