Diriyah Gate Development Authority signs a contract worth $2 billion (7.8 billion riyals) to develop a new area north of Diriyah.
The area includes:
- Advanced educational institutions
- Cultural sites
- Modern offices
A luxury hotel
Contractor: Al Saif Company in partnership with the Chinese Architectural Engineering Corporation (CSCEC)
The cost of the Diriyah project is 237 billion riyals in its three phases.
